We celebrate the first world champion

Author: Viktoria Butscher

It’s happening: today the first world champion will be selected in the PP1 pace test. But what are the tasks for rider and horse in the two rounds of the competition? Reaching the 50 meter mark, the horse has to be placed into race pace. (the judges give a grade from 0 to 10). Between 50 and 150 meter mark the horse has to show pace. Quality and time (only if the horse passes the time track completely in racing pace) are counted in two different grades. Going back into walk (without jumping into canter) is also judged. The average of the grades add up to the result.

At 6.30 pm the award ceremony will take place and the first world champion of this WM2019 will be chosen – don’t miss it.
