A 3-year initiative called “Riding Inclusive” led by owner foundation Rehazentrum Ost and social funding agency Aktion Mensch, will further vaulting, jumping and dressage especially. Weekly leisure and training activities as well as hosting of and participating in sports events for both people with or without disabilities are planned. The offer regarding therapeutic riding includes hippotherapy, educational therapy with horses and horse-assisted psychotherapy. Scientific research will be conducted in cooperation with institutions, and the facility will have their own physical therapist. Learning resources are accessible as well, using plain language and complying with special needs.
Today, disabled people and their families, as well as professionals working in the social and medical field, will find information at the exhibition area of WM2019. Information booths and specialized lectures, but also join in activities, stage events and hands-on demonstrations are on the agenda.
