The traditional relay ride leads from the venue of the last world championship in the Netherlands to Berlin, where the relay stick will be handed over as part of the opening ceremony.
Off we go in Oirschot in June, the riders arrive at the German border on Friday, 28 June. The Rhine will be crossed at Duisburg on 03 July, the riders will reach Warendorf on 10 July (Wednesday), the Weser will be crossed on 18 July, on 25 July the relay is in Wolfsburg. Berlin will be reached on Saturday, 03 August.
On this Saturday, the WM2019 grounds will host the casting for the participants of the final section through Berlin. This starts on Sunday, 04 August at 10 am at the Victory Column (Siegessäule) and leads across the city to Karlshorst. Here, the up to 100 participants ride into the stadium and are a central part of the opening ceremony of the WM2019.
There are still spaces left for the final section, registration is still possible.
